Let me start off by making this perfectly clear...I am not a blogger. I have never considered writing anything about making money online. My goal here is to connect with others who have made information products be it publishing, advertising or affiliate marketing their main source of income.
I am looking to exchange ideas about referrals, email marketing, surf to earn and residual income programs.
I am what most people would call a Dreamer. I have been most of my life. As a young man my dream was to have a business of my own and retire by the age of 40. Well after a very short stint in the military, 5 years in a commune and several jobs later, I am now 12 years past my goal of retirement and completely fed up with my current... well former job, which is why I chose to take a leap of faith. The job I had wasn't what you would consider a bad job, the pay was (about $300 a week after taxes) which I had to wait 2 weeks to get, not enough for one let alone a man trying to take on the responsibility of a new family of four with two teenage daughters of my own.
In this economy a lot of people, including family, considered my decision to leave my job for the hope of success as an internet entrepreneur nuts and if it wasn't for the love of my fiancee, who totally supported my decision to strike out on my own, I would still be miserable working on a job that I had grown to hate in less than three months.
Now for the good news, you see, I'm not alone in this. Many others are finding that a job just won't do for them what it did for their parents and even more important there are others that follow trends who know that now is the time to take that proverbial leap of faith. A direct quote from Entrepreneur Magazine, "Regardless of what people around you (including the media) may say, right now is the best time to get into business. Just go back and look at the economic slowdowns throughout history. Most recessions in the post-World War II era last an average of 10 months, followed by growth cycles that last an average of 50 months".

Now what has me angry and excited at the same time in this venture, is all the hype I have been subjected to via email and annoying phone calls regarding my search for the product or company that would put my mind at ease in terms of making a decent income.
Over the last four months or so I have purchased several program and put them to the test to see which ones I could actually make money with. Some have cost me hundreds of dollars and I have to say aren't worth much more than the time it took to read, watch or listen to them. Others were much cheaper and produced little results, and let's not forget the "Start Making Money For Free" programs, only to find out after joining that it isn't possible.
I have found a few that look promising and I've even started to make money with a couple. There is one in particular which I've decided to focus on because of it's transparency and the fact that I have access to the creator of the program, not some adviser telling me I need to invest X amount of dollars more than I already have for the complete program.
This being a rant more than a promotion, I will pick and expose whether or not some of these so called "Top Money Making Programs" will make any money for you or myself.
As I said at the beginning of this, I am not a blogger just a guy who wants to make money here and pass on information about the programs I've tried.
